This 2 days tour to Zagora desert doesn’t offer a real experience of the desert, if more time available in your schedule so we recommend 3 or 4 days to Erg Chebbi desert for more enjoyable desert trip.

🧳 Essential Items

Comfortable travel bag – no need for a big suitcase, space in the vehicle is limited.

Clothing

Warm jacket or fleece – desert nights can get cold, especially in winter.

Tour Plan

Day 1 includes MARRAKECH, the Tizi n’Tichka Atlas Mountains, AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH, ZAGORA, a camel ride, and an overnight stay at a desert camp.

Through the Tizi n’Tichka pass of the High Atlas Mountains ( 2260 m). On the mountainside, you will see Berber and traditional villages, and you will stop frequently to take pictures of the spectacular landscapes until we reach Ouarzazate, also known as “the Hollywood of Morocco,” where we will stop for lunch at the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah and then visit Taourirt Kasbah before continuing to the Zagora Desert. We will then travel to Agdz and the date-palm-filled Dra’a Valley. We’ll continue going until we reach Zagora, where your camels are ready for you to begin your camel Desert Experience tour. After that, you’ll spend the night in a Berber Desert tent.

Day 2: Back To Marrakech through Zagora, Agdez, and Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains

After watching the sunrise, we get back on the camels. Then, after breakfast and a shower, we’ll begin the trip back to Marrakech. On the way, we’ll stop at the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. Then, after visiting it and eating lunch, we’ll continue on to cross the High Atlas Mountains via the country’s highest road pass (Tizni Tichka, 2260 M), which offers breathtaking views of nearby Berber villages and valleys. Arrive at Marrakech before sunset, where the journey comes to an end.
