Sahara Gate Travel offers a range of exciting 4×4 adventures designed to help you experience the beauty, culture, and landscapes of the Merzouga region.

Your journey begins right after breakfast, departing from our hotel at 09:30 AM. The Erg Chebbi dunes, famous for their golden sands, stretch approximately 30 km long and 8–10 km wide, creating a breathtaking backdrop for your desert adventure.

This region is home to nomadic Berber tribes, unlike the Zagora and M’hamid deserts where Bedouin Arabs traditionally reside. Scattered around the dunes are charming villages such as Hassilabied, Tanamoust, Takojt, Khamlia, Tissardmine, Merzouga, and Taouz — the latter marking the end of the paved road before it disappears into the legendary Dakar Rally route.
