Day 1: Marrakech – Telouet – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate
We will pick you up at your hotel/riad. than we leave Marrakech and drive towards the High Atlas Mountains and the road for Ouarzazate through the Tizi´ N´Tichka pass (2260m). You will enjoy beautiful landscapes with different colours and the Berber villages. We will visit Kasbah Telouet which was occupied by the Glaoui Pacha. Your trip will take you to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou. This beautiful village has been used as a backdrop for over 20 films including Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, Jewel of the Nile, and Gladiator. Overnight in Ouarzazate at you Hotel Kasbah .
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura Oasis – Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge
After The breakfast we depart towards the city of Ouarzazate known as the Gate of Sahara Desert. Visit Kasbah Taourirt. Then we start travelling via the Road of 1000 Kasbahs to the Oasis Skoura lined by many palm groves than in our way we will stop for visiting the Rose Valley is knowning for its production of Damascus roses. At Dades Boumalne we can take the smaller route that will lead us to the Dades Gorge. We will pass the strange rock creation of Tamnalt Hills, a bizarre rock resembling monkey feet. We will travel to the top of the Dades Gorge, a deep gorge of red and mauve rock towering above the road.Overniight at The your hotel in Dades gorge.
Day 3: Dades Gorge –Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi)
After breakfast you will leave Dades to explore the amazing Todra Gorges then travel to Tinghir where you can walk amongst the beautiful oasis palm trees. Erfoud is your next destination where you will see a traditional cutting workshop then to the small city of Rissani for lunch. After lunch you will continue to Merzouga where you will camel trek into the beautiful Erg Chebbi dunes. You will spend the evening in a bivouac (camp), enjoy a Moroccan dinner, and sleep in a traditional Nomad camel hair Berber tent in a Desert Camp.
Day 4: Erg Chebbi – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
You will wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, possibly the best moment of Merzouga desert, drive to Fes along the Ziz Valley Gorge and via Azrou and the cedar forests where colonies of the indigenous Barbary monkeys will keep you amused. Then we continue our way to Fez where the private tour ends.
